The church of St Mary and St Demiana is the oldest Coptic Orthodox church in the Republic of Ireland, having been established in Ireland in 1993, and inaugurated by H. H. Pope Shenouda III in 1994. Since then, our church has been serving the Coptic Orthodox community in Ireland, as well as members of other communities such as the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
Our church also often represents the Coptic Orthodox Church in local and international events held in the Republic of Ireland.
